Tom Hanks, the Good Samaritan: Finds Student’s ID, Wants to Return It

Sony/Columbia(NEW YORK) — Tom Hanks is a regular guy. Not only is he known to use the subway while traveling around New York City, fans have also spied him strolling around any one of New York City’s many parks. Which may be why when a local Fordham University student lost her student identification card, Hanks was there to the rescue.
“Lauren! I found your Student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get to you. Hanx,” the Bridge of Spies star tweeted to his 10.4 million followers Tuesday.
Hanks is also paying forward a good deed someone did for him earlier this year. Back in March, he thanked a man named Tom for finding his credit card on the street and returning it. He also detailed that ordeal on Twitter.
While he’s not being a Good Samaritan, Hanks is starring in Bridge of Spies, out Oct. 16.
