The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 earned an estimated 101 million dollars from Friday through Sunday. It’s the smallest-grossing open of any Hunger Games movie.

The second movie in the franchise, Catching Fire, had the most successful debut, collecting 158.1 million dollars in 2013. Last year’s Mockingjay — Part 1 scored 121.9 million.

The previous box office champ, the James Bond movie Spectre, fell to second place, raising 14.6 million dollars.

The R-rated holiday comedy The Night Before, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anthony Mackie, premiered in the fourth spot, earning 10.1 million dollars.

The Julia Roberts drama Secret in Their Eyes opened in fifth place, with 6.6 million.
