Body found wrapped in plastic near Cataldo identified as missing Spokane woman

SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman’s body found wrapped in plastic and dumped along side a road near Cataldo has been identified, according to KHQ Local News.

The Spokane TV station reports the woman has been identified as Cindy Lou Zeppenfeld Bergan of Spokane. She had been missing since Jan. 7.

Hunters found Zeppenfeld’s body Saturday, Jan. 23 on the side of the road near Canyon Road and Hardy Loop in Cataldo.

Cataldo is about 35 miles east of Post Falls.

Major crime detectives are working the case. No suspects have been named.
