Slick roads cause rollovers and slide offs in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — Authorities are reporting multiple accidents this morning due to slick conditions.

Two accidents occurred just after 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18 just south of Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls Fire Department and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s office responded to a roll over accident near the intersection of South 5th West and West 65 South.

While Deputies and EMS staff were attending to the roll over accident, another accident occurred near South 12th west and West 65 South. Emergency crews from the first accident responded to the second accident as well.

Minor injuries were reported.

Idaho Transportation Department reports road conditions are wet and that it is snowing. Visibility is 1.2 miles and wind speed is gusting up to 9.6 miles.
