SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (KTLA) — Police in San Bernardino were searching Monday for an 18-year-old woman in connection with the stabbing death of a man during a possible domestic dispute, according to KTLA.

Dorian Powell, 21, was found dead inside an apartment with injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident appeared to be related to a domestic disturbance inside the unit, and police said they were searching for Nakasia James, who was identified as a person of interest.

Police added that there were no other known incidents related to the location.

Later on Monday, a person with the same name as James posted an apparent confession on Facebook.

The post’s author said she was fighting with her “ex” when he hit her in the face.

“We was really fightn and I got the knife and stabbed him,” the post states, adding that she didn’t think she would hurt him but, “I did, he died.”

Police would not comment on the Facebook post, but stated in the news release that James was aware she was being sought and urged her to come forward.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Detective Lewis at 909- 384-5762 or Sgt. Kokesh at 909-384-5615.
