Hitt Rd. closed after car hits pole, knocks power lines into street

IDAHO FALLS — A car hit a pole on Hitt Road (North 25th East) Tuesday evening, causing power lines to fall into the street.
The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. at Hitt Road near East 49th North in Bonneville County.
Witnesses say a woman was driving and she was able to walk away from the car after the crash.
Both southbound and northbound lanes in the area were closed while crews worked to repair the lines.
