IDAHO FALLS — The man police say is responsible for an armed robbery Saturday has been arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

Jeremy Hoyle, 36, is being held without bond on felony robbery and misdemeanor probation violation charges.

Detectives say Hoyle walked into Phillips 66 on Rollandet and 17th St. just before 9:00 a.m. He’s accused of pretending to make a purchase before pulling a knife and demanding the store clerk give him the money.

An attempted robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank ATM, located at 1798 S. 25th East, which occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday remains under investigation.

Police responded to this location after a woman reported that she confronted at the ATM by an
unknown suspect. The man, who was believed to be holding a knife, demanded money
from the woman. She was able to get away from the suspect and call police.

Anyone with information regarding either robbery is asked to call Idaho Falls Police at (208) 529-1200.
