IDAHO FALLS — Two teens were arrested early Monday morning on drug-dealing charges after they were pulled over for speeding.

Kenlee McIntire, 18, and Dezmund Warner, 19, both of Idaho Falls, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver around 2 a.m.

Police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen told EastIdahoNews.com officers smelled marijuana when they pulled over the Ford Focus at 17th and Higbee.

McIntire had two meth pipes and 3.8 grams of meth in the car. There were also two bags of marijuana and a chocolate substance that contained THC, police said. Officers also found scales and small plastic bags.

The driver of the vehicle was a 16‐year‐old boy who was booked into 3B Detention Center for frequenting a place where drugs are used and resisting arrest for being belligerent. He was also cited for speeding and curfew violation.

McIntire and Warner were booked into the Bonneville County Jail without bond.
