Where to hunt for Easter Eggs today!

IDAHO FALLS — There are dozens of Easter Egg hunts going on all over eastern Idaho this weekend It’s nearly impossible for EastIdahoNews.com to find and promote them all.

So we need your help — if you are planning a public Easter Egg hunt this weekend — please post the event details in our comments or on Facebook and we will do our best to promote them in this story. You can also email press releases to us at news@eastidahonews.com.

Ammon Fire Department Hosts Easter Egg hunt at McCowin Park

The Ammon Fire Department will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt on March 26th, 2016. The event will take place in the center of McCowin Park, adjacent to the City of Ammon Pool, and will start promptly at 10am. As always, there will be no cost for the event. The hunt will be divided up into appropriate age groups, ranging from “0-2months” all the way up to “10-12 years old”. Each age group will have special grand prizes for two lucky children in each age group.

This is the 20th consecutive year that the City of Ammon and Ammon Fire Department have hosted an Easter Egg Hunt. This is a great opportunity to bring the community and families together to enjoy the holiday. The Ammon Fire Department will have several fire engines for citizens to tour and “Sparky the Fire Dog” will be there to meet and greet as well.

Fourth annual East Egg Hunt for the blind or visually impaired

There will be a special beeping East Egg hunt for those who are visually impaired, as well as a separate hunt for other children and siblings at Community Park at the corner of 25th and Holmes in Idaho Falls.

The event, at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, is for all children ages 12 and under. All visually impaired and blind children will have the opportunity to participate in their own hunt.

Annual Ucon Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt

It’s time again for the Annual Easter Egg hunt. Bring all your little ones to the park next to Ucon Elementary School at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26.

We will have different areas for all ages. The kids will be turned loose right at 10 a.m., so make sure to get there early. As always, there will be eggs in the mist of them all that have a special prize in them. Years past have included brand new bikes. Don’t want to miss out on this one!! Hope to see you all there!!

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Porter Park in Rexburg

The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Easter Egg hunt at Porter Park on the corner of Second South and Second West in Rexburg.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 26, is open to children under 12.

Easter Egg Hunt for children with Special Needs

The Piece by Piece Foundation will host its 5th annual Easter Egg hunt for children with special needs and their families at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26. The egg hunt will be held at Journeys DDA in Ammon, at the big log cabin just east of Arctic Circle on 1st Street.

We’ll have 6 different areas for children from 0-10+ and a wheelchair accessible area. All of the candy will be gluten free and there will be non-food options for children with dietary requirements. Special appearances from the Easter Bunny and Charlie the Chukar.

FatCats annual Easter Egg Hunt

FatCats Rexburg will hold its annual Easter Egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday. The indoor hunt will be at the movie theater located at 4752 2nd East.

Bill’s Bike and Run East Egg Run

The hunt will start at Bill’s Bike & Run and follow our most common group run route north up and around Freeman Park. Eggs will be hidden on both sides of the greenbelt and around the park path. All eggs will be close proximity to the paved path. No foraging needed.

You can begin looking anytime after 4:30 a.m.

Everyone is encouraged to go out for their early morning run and keep an eye out for an egg. You are limited to one egg. Choose wisely. Every egg will have a number inside it and that number will be associated with a prize. You must redeem your egg at Bills Bike and Run (Idaho Falls location) by the end of the day during normal store hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to get your prize. You cannot claim prize for another runner.

Prizes will include everything from free socks, huge discounts, free gear, gift cards, free shoes and more. Every egg will get a prize!
