Idaho Falls man arrested for unlawful possession of firearms

IDAHO FALLS — Police arrested 39-year-old James D. McCord for unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon Wednesday afternoon.
McCord of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail, according to a news release.
According to Idaho Falls Police, officers received an anonymous tip McCord was unlawfully in possession of several firearms he was trying to sell. Officers made contact with McCord and found him in possession of 12 firearms.
McCord was convicted of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute in 2005.
