Pocatello Police find missing boy a few miles from home

UPDATE (7:20 p.m.) — Pocatello Police say 10-year-old Alazae Rassmussen has been found. He was walking on a road a few miles from his home. He has been reunited with his family.

POCATELLO — Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for a missing child.

10-year-old Alazae Rassmussen was last seen around 5:00 p.m. Saturday on the 3500 block of Jason Avenue in the south end of Pocatello.

Police say he took out the garbage and did not return to his house. Alazae has possibly wandered off and may not be able to find his way back to his street.

Alazae is 5 feet tall, weighs around 96 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over an orange t-shirt, grey pants and blue and orange tennis shoes.
