BONNEVILLE COUNTY — At approximately 2 p.m., dispatch received a call of a jet ski with no rider floating in the Snake River above John’s Hole Bridge near Freeman Park.

Deputies made contact with two adult males on jet skis just above the bridge who advised two juvenile females were unaccounted for. Both of those females were able to climb out of the water upstream and were checked by Idaho Falls Ambulance Personnel and released.

One of the males advised he experienced a mechanical issue and was pulled into the hydronic of the diversion dam just upstream from University Place. Both jet skis, attempting to help each other, overturned causing all of the riders to fall into the water.

All of the subjects were from Rexburg, an 80-year-old adult male, a 52-year-old adult male, and 2 juvenile female teenagers.
