Idaho Falls Zoo welcomes baby zebra

IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park is welcoming a new family member.
A zebra foal was born Saturday morning and is now on exhibit in the Africa section of the zoo.
Workers won’t know the gender of the newborn until veterinary staff examine it sometime this week, according the zoo’s Facebook page.
Zebras can walk within an hour of birth and both baby and mama appear to be doing fine.
