VIDEO: Pickup crashes into Idaho Falls gas pump

IDAHO FALLS — Police are investigating after a pickup truck came barreling into a gas pump.
Surveillance footage shows a dark blue Chevy Silverado crashing into the pump at the RoadRunner Pit Stop, a Conoco station on 17th Street near Curtis Avenue, on Thursday around 5 p.m. The pickup came to a stop when it hit a nearby post.
“The safeties went off just like they were supposed to or it would have been bad,” store manager Brent Hall said.
No injuries from the crash were reported. Worker Danny Johnson said he was working at the stores drive-thru window when he saw the truck heading for the gas station.
“I honestly thought he was going to miss it,” Johnson said.
