IDAHO FALLS — A local business is feeling the loss of a $15,000 motorcycle after a thief cut the lock to a gated part of the business to steal the bike.

A red 2013 Victory Cross Country motorcycle was stolen from Action Motor Sports on East Lincoln Road in Idaho Falls, according business owners.

Surveillance video shows the thief jump a fence into a gated yard just after 5 a.m. Sunday morning. The thief then uses bolt cutters to cut the lock to the gate.

After moving some equipment around the thief is seen leaving with a black motorcycle, but later returned it in exchange for the red Victory Cross Country valued at $15,000.

The thief left the property traveling towards a mobile home park on Hollipark Drive.

Action Motor Sports management says the thief left the bolt cutters behind.

Business owners are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the thief.

Attempts to reach the Idaho Falls Police Department regarding information about this theft were unsuccessful.
