AG: Idaho man sought after-school sex with teenager

BOISE — A Boise man is behind bars after authorities say he tried to meet up with a teenage girl to have sex after school.
Jason Douglas West, 44, was arrested Wednesday for enticement of a minor, according to a news release from Attorney General Lawrence Wasden.
Wasden says investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit arrested West after he communicated via the Internet to meet a 15-year-old after school for sex. Once West arrived at the meetup location, he was contacted by police and arrested.
West is being held in the Ada County Jail and faces one count of enticement of a minor.
Wasden says this is an ongoing investigation and asks anyone with information to contact the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit at (208) 334-4527.
Wasden also praised law enforcement officers from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office A.C.T.I.O.N. Team, the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the US Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force for assisting in the arrest.
