Man killed, another injured in St. Anthony sand dunes ATV accident

The following is a news release from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
ST. ANTHONY — On Oct. 1 at approximately 12:37 p.m., Fremont County dispatch received a 911 call about an ATV Side by side rollover accident.
Fremont County Sheriff, St. Anthony Ambulance and Life Flight responded to Devils Dune on the west end of the St. Anthony Sand Dunes.
It appears the Driver, Ronald E. Cassidy, 76, of Melba, and passenger David E Bradshaw, 51, also from Melba, were in a Polaris Ranger on Devils Dune when they went over the top of the dune and lost control of the vehicle and rolled all the way to the bottom.
Cassidy was pronounced dead on scene and Bradshaw was taken to EIRMC by LifeFlight with non-life threatening injuries.
