POCATELLO — Dozens of bicyclists gathered at Barrie’s Ski and Sports on Saturday for the 3rd annual ‘Cranksgiving’ event.

The bicyclists rode their bikes through streets of Pocatello helping to deliver over one thousand turkeys to the Eastern Idaho Food Bank in Pocatello.

Over $7 thousand dollars was also raised, including a check donated by Idaho Central Credit Union $2,500.

“I thought what a great opportunity not only to support the local businesses but support the food bank who really needs this, this time of year,” says Steve Stuart, Pocatello.

Organizers of the event say they broke their record from last year with a final count of 1,148 turkeys and 75 bicyclists.
