Rammell to Defend Elk Poaching

(IDAHO FALLS) – Former Idaho gubernatorial candidate Rex Rammell is headed back to court this week. After a nearly five month fight to clear his name for illegally killing an elk, Rammell faces a jury trial April 28. The former elk rancher was charged with misdemeanor possession of wildlife taken unlawfully. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for Wednesday. If convicted, Rammell could spend up to six months in jail and pay a $1,000 fine.
