Marijuana Invades Idaho from Montana

(REXBURG) – The number of criminal cases involving marijuana is increasing in the Upper Valley. Local News 8 reports that much of what they’ve found is actually coming from Montana, where medical marijuana is legal. Fremont County officials have made 15 narcotics arrests in the last month. A 25-year-old Rexburg man who threatened to kill his wife last week had purchased the drugs in Montana with a state-issued card. Officials warn that once the drugs cross the border, it becomes illegal.
