Otter Declares Emergency in Bingham and Jefferson Counties

(BLACKFOOT) – Gov. Butch Otter has issued a State Declaration of Emergency in Bingham and Jefferson Counties. The initiative makes state support available for areas impacted by recent flooding. Homeland Security officials are applauding the efforts of volunteers from various organizations and church groups donating their time and materials to help fight the rising water. Emergency responders across the state are continuing to monitor conditions and are making preparations for further flooding.
