Flooding In Teton, A Growing Concern

Flood waters continue to rise in Teton County, covering roadways and filling basements. KIDK reports that area highway officials haven’t seen anything like it in well over 30 years. Crews spent the day Wednesday breaking apart side roads and the bike path between Victor and Driggs to let water flow away from the waste water treatment plant. The Teton County Sheriff’s Office is supplying free sandbags for those who need them. Residents whose property has been damaged by the flooding are encouraged to let officials know by visiting www.tetoncountyidaho.gov.
