(JACKSON HOLE – WY) [Jacksonholeradio.com] Cast and Crew of ABC’s hit television show Modern Family arrive in Jackson Hole today, flying in together on a charter flight from L.A. The shoot over the week ahead consummates weeks of negotiation to bring the show here for their season premier to be aired next month. Already, Stephen Price of the town and county’s Joint Travel and Tourism Board says the arrangement has generated over 300 media articles with an equivalent value of over $50-thousand dollars in advertising for the valley. Michelle Howard of the Wyoming Film Commission says the state is also keying in on the opportunity to showcase itself to a very large audience, including the placement of ads on the network during the airing of the show. At the same time, Howard says a positive experience for the production crew this week can have a ripple effect for the state’s film industry. Howard says within the industry, personal endorsement of the experience a company has during their location shoot goes a long way to influence others to consider filming there. Shooting concludes this weekend and the Jackson Hole episode is set to air September 21st.
