Five Fires Light Up Southeast Idaho

(POCATELLO) – Fire crews have been fighting at least five different blazes in the region – nearly all of which have started in the past few days. The largest fire is currently burning in Power County in what officials are calling the “Garden Fire.” Early estimates indicate the fire has burned around 1,800 acres. The “Two-and-a-Half-Mile Fire” burning in northeast Bannock County has burned an estimated 600 acres. Stay tuned throughout the day for more updates.
