NRC Approves Areva License

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a license to AREVA to build and operate in Bonneville County. Construction on the Eagle Rock Enrichment Facility is expected to begin sometime next Spring. AREVA had been eyeing the property for a long time, and had to undergo nearly three years worth of safety and environmental reviews before the proposal could be approved.
