2 Missionaries Killed After Hit-And-Run

(DONNA, Texas) – Two LDS missionaries were killed Tuesday evening after being hit by a car while riding their bicycles. Authorities say the victims were wearing helmets and were using bicycle lights when a car hit them while passing another vehicle. The victims were 21-year-old Trevor Strong of Taylorsville, Utah and 20-year-old Derek Walker of Fairfield, Idaho. Another missionary was injured in the accident but has been released from the hospital. The driver ran after the accident but later surrendered. Charges are pending.
