Renda, a Russian tanker, was set to deliver fuel during the week to the town of 3,500 people who are waiting for their winter fuel supply. Heavy snow in Alaska has made delivery difficult with the Renda moving through icy conditions.

Joy Baker, the Nome Harbormaster told ABC News that on Saturday afternoon the tanker will be moved into place and depending on conditions, a mile hose will be used to transport the oil to shore.
