Thunder Guard Maynor Out for the Season
Published at(OKLAHOMA CITY) — Oklahoma City Thunder guard Eric Maynor will miss the remainder of the season, after tearing the ACL in his right knee.
He tore the ligament during the fourth quarter of the Thunder’s victory over the Rockets Saturday night.
Maynor has been serving as the team’s backup point guard. He is expected to be replaced by either rookie Reggie Jackson or Royal Ivey.
For the season, Maynor was averaging 4.2 points and 2.4 assists per game.
