College Basketball Coach Charlie Spoonhour Dies at Age 72

Getty Images(CHAPEL HILL, N.C.) — College basketball coach Charlie Spoonhour died Wednesday of lung disease, at the age of 72.

Spoonhour was the head coach of St. Louis, UNLV and Missouri State in a total of 19 Division I seasons. He finished his career with a record of 373-202.
