‘Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax’ and ‘Project X’ Open Friday
Published at(NEW YORK) — Here’s a look at the new movies opening nationwide Friday:
— Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax: Based on the classic Dr. Seuss tale, the animated film follows a 12-year-old boy as he tries to win over a girl by attempting to discover the rare “Truffula Tree.” Along the way, he comes across the title character, who is protective of his forest. The voice cast features Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Betty White and musician Taylor Swift. The film is screening in 3D. Rated PG.
— Project X: Three unpopular high school seniors throw a party that quickly gets out of hand. The Hangover director Todd Phillips produced the comedy, which stars Thomas Mann and Oliver Cooper. Rated R.
