(IDAHO FALLS) – Eastern Idaho continues to add jobs amid a tough economy.  The number of people seeking unemployment benefits is resting at 6.5 percent regionally, just a few points below the state and national average.  Local economists say the outlook is even better for the coming months, and could reach a little over five percent by the end of the year.  State officials say job creation went up 24 percent in southeast Idaho between 2010 and 2011.
