Coyotes Top Predators 5-3, Lead Series 2-0

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(GLENDALE, Ariz.) — Four Phoenix Coyotes had a goal and an assist as they defeated the Nashville Predators, 5-3, giving them a 2-0 series lead.
“I would say this is the best 60 minutes we’ve played in the playoffs, for sure,” coach Dave Tippett said. “Just solid throughout.”
The Coyotes put up a playoff-high of 39 shots, and every time Nashville would score, the Coyotes would answer.
“When you got all the energy in the building and they get at goal and it seems like the energy goes down a little bit it’s nice to respond in a hurry,” said Tippett.
The series heads to Nashville Wednesday for Game 3.
