(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — The number of new homes popping up around eastern Idaho is on the rise. The number of new homes constructed between January and March was nearly double the amount at this time last year. Contractors say it’s a good sign for job security and a recovering economy. New construction jobs are up 10-percent nationwide over 2011.
