Shot Fremont County Boy Identified

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a boy who died over the weekend in a shooting accident. 14-year-old William Rees accidentally shot himself in the abdomen Saturday evening while staying with his grandparents in the Teton/Newdale area. Rees was rushed by ambulance to the Rexburg Airport and airlifted to EIRMC where he was pronounced dead.
