Tia wanted her sister to have a child, especially since she and husband Cory Hardrict, an actor, welcomed son Cree last June.

“I really wanted her to have a baby rather soon because I wanted Cree and his cousin to be close,” Tia tells ABC News Radio.

The 33-year-old actress has become an expert on all things baby, especially after penning her first book Oh Baby: Pregnancy Tales and Advice from One Hot Mama to Another

Tia says the book aims to calm expecting moms’ fears, explaining, “You’re already anxious.  You’re already nervous at that, so I wanted to write a book that was fun, informative and kind of like coming from a girlfriend’s perspective.”

Still, that doesn’t mean this working mom has it all figured out.  While on the set of her new ABC Family movie Mistle-Tones, which Tia shot earlier this year in Utah, it was advice from co-star Tori Spelling that eased her mommy guilt.

Tia says Spelling told her “it’s okay to be working and taking care of your child at the same time.  Don’t be too hard on yourself.”  Tia says that advice helped get her through those tough days on set.

Tia’s son Cree, whose names means “A Warrior Who Would Travel Around the World,” travels with the actress, including going to Atlanta when she filmed BET’s hit series The Game.  The actress recently announced she would not be returning for the show’s sixth season.

But that doesn’t mean Tia is slowing down.  She’s even thinking about having another little one.

“To bring in another child into this world, I would love it,” Tia told ABC News Radio.  “It is so beautiful just knowing that you are creating life, and what is more powerful and meaningful than bringing life into this world?”

Watch Tia Mowry Hardrict as she adjusts to her new life as a working mom on the second season of Style TV’s Tia & Tamera, which premieres Monday, June 11 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
