Community Raises $2,000 For Wounded Puppy

(IDAHO FALLS) – A wounded puppy is getting a lot of community support after being shot and left to die last month. Leslie Schwindt of Blackfoot, who adopted the dog, says she’s thankful for the help of so many people who contributed to the border collie’s medical bills. Donors have raised around $2,000, which were turned in to the Blackfoot Animal Clinic. Schwindt says “Angel” is adjusting well to her new home.
