Bills Wide Receiver Nelson Out For Season With Torn ACL

NFL via Buffalo Bills(NEW YORK) — As if losing to the New York Jets 48-28 in their season opener wasn’t bad enough, the Buffalo Bills got some bad news on Monday. Wide receiver David Nelson will miss the rest of the 2012 season after suffering a torn ACL in the loss, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

The Bills have also lost running back Fred Jackson for around a month, according to reports.

Nelson is in his third season in the NFL after the Bills signed him prior to the 2010 season.

Replacing Nelson will be wide receivers Ruvell Martin as well as T.J. Graham.
