Counterfeit Bills Popping Up in Rexburg

 

 

 

 

(REXBURG) – Rexburg Police are looking for at least three suspects who passed $300 in counterfeit bills this week. Three businesses have come forward with complaints, though investigators say it’s possible that the fraudulent bills could have been used at other locations. The suspects include a bald-headed Hispanic male, a Hispanic female, and a white female. All three were wearing black shirts and drove away in a black Pontiac Am or Grand Prix with Idaho license plates. Authorities say the bills were used to purchase a wide variety of items.
