E. Idaho Could Be Home to Nuclear Technology

(IDAHO FALLS) – Eastern Idaho could soon become a main hub for the nuclear technology industry. Energy lobbyists met with state nuclear commissioners to discuss the future of research and development at the Idaho National Laboratory. They say the key to future development at the INL is to “free up real estate,” making more of the site available for new projects. Commissioners plan to hold a hearing on Friday at the Idaho Falls Hilton Garden Inn at 2:45 pm to gauge public opinion.
