Quarterback Seth Doege tossed seven touchdown passes, including one in each overtime period to help Texas Tech (No. 17 BCS, No. 18 AP) stave off the Horned Frogs.

In the third overtime, TCU went ahead on freshman kicker Jaden Oberkrom’s Big 12-record sixth field goal of the game.

Four plays later, Doege hit receiver Alex Torres with the game-winning eight-yard touchdown pass to give the Red Raiders the victory.

TCU (5-2, 2-2) playing in its first season in the Big 12, lost two consecutive home games in a single season for the first time since 1998.

Doege finished with 318 yards passing, seven touchdowns, and zero turnovers.

Texas Tech led 36-26 with four minutes left in regulation but TCU came back to force the extra periods.  They became bowl-eligible with the win.
