Bradshaw Out For Giants Vs. Falcons
Published at(EAST RUTHEFORD, N.J.) – New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw will not play in Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons due to continuing knee and foot injuries.
Bradhsaw suffered a sprained knee in the team’s last game against the New Orleans Saints, while the foot issues have limited him to one practice a week this season.
“It would have been a reach for (Bradshaw) to be ready. But someone like that and his constitution, you have to give him every benefit of the doubt,” Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. “I’m sure he’d be disappointed right now. He thinks come game day it’s all going to straighten out for him. In this case it’s medically the only wise move.”
Rookie David Wilson will likely see more time at the position as a result. He logged 100 yards and two rushing touchdowns in addition to a kickoff return score against New Orleans.
