(POCATELLO) – High schools in District 25 have played their home football games in Holt Arena for years, but that could change soon.

Athletic directors from Highland, Pocatello and Century tell the Idaho State Journal it costs about $2,000 to rent the Holt Arena for each game. Coupled with the fact that ISU runs its own concessions and keeps that revenue, the district hasn’t seen much in terms of profit, which is often used to fund other sports programs.

They’re considering a new stadium at Hawthorne Middle School valued at an estimated $650,000.
