European Union Wins Nobel Peace Prize
(OSLO, Norway) — The 27 member states of the European Union are joint winners of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.
The Nobel committee has praised the bloc’s success in promoting peace and human rights in the wake of two world wars.
The chairman of the Nobel group urged the E.U. to bring the same spirit of unity to their fight against the economic crisis that now threatens its existence.
