(NEW YORK) — ABC has revived its efforts to bring a sitcom based on the life of pop superstar Justin Bieber to the small screen.
ABC began developing the show last year, and now it’s back on deck and under consideration for next season, according to a network spokesperson. The untitled family-friendly comedy would focus on Bieber’s background before he got famous and chronicle his adolescent years.
Bieber would stay behind the camera. He’s slated to executive produce the show with his manager, Scooter Braun, and two EPs who worked on HBO’s Entourage, according to TV Guide.
The burning question: who should play Bieber?
