(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  Police officers were called to Skyline High School Wednesday morning to investigate a student who had brought a gun to school.   Following procedure the school was placed on lockdown.  Doors were locked, students were kept to their classrooms, and the student involved was detained while officers searched for the gun.    According to a District 91 spokesperson, officers eventually found the gun, which turned out to be an AirSoft gun.   The lockdown was lifted after close to an hour investigation.   There were no injuries.  No word on what, if any, charges will be brought against the student or what type of punishment the school will impose.
