(SODA SPRINGS, ID) — A train derailment closed a section of state Highway 34 north of Soda Springs Monday. Idaho State Police say the accident happened near the Monsanto facility. Authorities diverted traffic along the highway between Evergreen Lane and China Hat Road for several hours.
