Bruins Lose McQuaid for 3-4 Weeks
Published at(OTTAWA) — The injuries are starting to pile up for the Boston Bruins.
Defenseman Adam McQuaid will miss 3-4 weeks with a left shoulder strain, the team announced Wednesday.
McQuaid was injured in the first period of the Bruins’ 3-1 loss against Winnipeg Tuesday.
The B’s, who’ve been healthy for most of the season, have had a recent injury spell.
Center Chris Kelly broke his left tibia in a game on March 11 and is out indefinitely, and center David Krejci is dealing with a knee bruise he suffered in Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh.
McQuaid has a plus-4 rating in 25 games for Boston this season.
