(OAKLEY, ID) – A Paul man drowned Sunday afternoon when high winds caused his boat to flip over on Oakley Reservoir. Investigators say 63-year-old Larry Tominaga was wearing a life jacket but drowned after succumbing to hypothermia. Witnesses who saw Tominaga’s boat flip reportedly tried to swim to him, but had to turn back because the water was too cold. Once Tominaga was pulled from the water, emergency responders were unable to revive him.
