(KETCHUM, ID) – Local and federal investigators looking into a series of bottle bombs filled with shrapnel near Sun Valley believe the incidents are connected to the same person or persons. Blaine County Sheriff Gene Ramsey says the bottles all had a similar crude design. Three bottles were found in a mailbox north of Hailey April 24. Days later, another five were found floating in a pond east of Ketchum. Officials were able to detonate four of the bombs, with the rest being duds or otherwise disabled. No injuries were reported.
