(MUD LAKE, ID) – Some residents in the rural communities of Mud Lake and Terreton say they’re feeling neglected by area law enforcement. Both towns rely on the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to investigate crimes and keep the peace. But with nearly a dozen unsolved burglaries in recent months and no deputies watching the towns full time, they say they’d like to have their voices heard. They plan to work with Sheriff Blair Olsen to determine a better course of action.
